Nestled in the picturesque Lake District, this romantic wedding venue set the stage for an unforgettable celebration filled with love, emotion, and breathtaking views. From bridal prep to the final dance, every moment of this wedding was truly magical.


Bridal Prep: Emotions and Anticipation


The day began with the bride and her closest loved ones preparing for the big moment, and after a tearful and emotional first look with her father, you knew it was set set to be a heartfelt celebration and a beautiful precursor to the romantic journey that lay ahead.

Bridal Boots with a unique touch



For this couple, horses weren’t just part of the day—they were part of their story. The bride, a lifelong horse lover, dreamed of having her own, Dutches, at the wedding. When the idea was suggested to me, it felt like my own dream come true too, as I’ve spent much of my own life taking in the world through the ears of a horse, and so I was more than happy to incorporate Dutches as much as possible. 


The ceremony itself started with rain, but as the vows were exchanged, the sun peeked through the clouds, creating a breathtaking moment - as if nature itself was celebrating the couple's love. Unfortunately, as quickly as the sun appeared, the rain returned as the newlyweds made their exit—although this simply created another eventful memory of this special day.

After the ceremony, the couple, still basking in the joy of their vows, took a moment for some stunning portraits. With Dutches by their side, they captured the essence of their love story—authentic and truly one of a kind.

Dinner was served by the incredible Smoke and Steel, a perfect choice for a truly exquisite dining experience. Guests were treated to a meal that matched the beauty of the day—flawlessly executed and utterly delicious. The speeches that followed were filled with laughter, heartwarming stories and a few happy tears. It was a celebration of not just the couple’s love, but also of the wonderful families and friends that surrounded them.

Private First Dance on the Pier backdropped against a sunset to remember


As the evening unfolded, the sky turned golden and the couple shared a private first dance on a secluded pier, surrounded by the serene beauty of the lake. The atmosphere was intimate and enchanting, and the couple’s love was so clearly evident in the soft glow of the sunset.

As if that weren’t enough, the couple took to rowing boats for a peaceful moment together, creating yet another memory that would last a lifetime.


The Party and Dance Moves to Remember


Back at the venue, the energy shifted as the party began. The groom absolutely rocked the dance floor, showing off his moves and bringing everyone to their feet, creating an infectious atmosphere full of laughter, joy and excitement, and ensuring that this wedding was one to be remembered for years to come.

This beautiful day in the Lake District wasn’t just a celebration of the couple’s love, but of the life they would build together, filled with shared passions and laughter.

The evening concluded with the groom completely rocking out on the dance floor, his energy and enthusiasm infectious. The celebration continued late into the night, with everyone dancing, laughing, and making memories they will never forget.
